The Team Walker After School Program is a free, safe, structured environment for students in Jersey City from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer academic support through tutoring and homework help, as well as targeted lessons in math and language arts, to ensure students succeed in the classroom. Beyond academics, our program fosters character development through activities that teach responsibility and teamwork. Students also get to enjoy sports and creative enrichment activities, all while receiving a nutritious hot meal and healthy snacks. Special Needs Program: At Team Walker, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Our Special Needs Learning Program, offered within the Afterschool Program, provides individualized support to ensure children with diverse learning needs receive the attention and resources they deserve. Through small-group instruction, one-on-one guidance, and tailored activities, our team works to reinforce academic skills, build confidence, and encourage social development. We partner closely with families and schools to create a supportive environment where every child can succeed at their own pace.
