Team Walker’s After School Program offers a safe place for students to complete homework and receive tutoring. Students participate in enrichment and recreation activities, and are provided a nutritious snack and meal.
Team Walker serves Jersey City students, grades K through 10.
Yearly applications must be filled out for both the Team Walker After School Program and Summer Program. These yearly applications also include the registration fee per child. The After School Program application is due by September 1. Registration for the Team Walker Summer Program begins in May.
For Team Walker’s After School Program, parents complete an application and pay a registration fee. This registration fee is a one-time fee and covers one child throughout the program. On average, Team Walker allocates space for 20 to 25 students per grade in the After School Program.
Students for the Team Walker Summer Program will be selected through an application process. Students in Team Walker’s After School program will be given priority, with the remaining seats to be filled on a first come first serve basis.
The Team Walker After School Program runs from 3 to 6 p.m., following the Jersey City Public School calendar for closures.
