John Majeski and his son Johnny are heading to the Presidential Range in New Hampshire for a 4–5 day backpacking trip to raise money for Team Walker.
Every year, a few friends and I take on a different endurance challenge to raise money for charity. In past years, we’ve rowed 135 miles down the Jersey Shore, biked 216 miles across New Jersey in one day, and last year I ran 100 miles nonstop, finishing in 26 hours and 17 minutes.
This year, I wanted to do something different.
Instead of another event that takes a ton of time away from family, I’m bringing family into it. My son Johnny and I are heading to the Presidential Range in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a 4 to 5 day backpacking trip.
We’re doing it to spend quality time together, take on a real challenge, and raise money for Team Walker Foundation in Jersey City, which helps underprivileged kids through mentorship, education, athletics, and the values of Determination, Dedication, and Discipline.
Johnny and I will be putting in the miles, and we hope you’ll support us by donating to Team Walker.
Thank you for helping us make this hike about something bigger than ourselves.
