Team Walker’s “Evening of Dreams” was a tremendous success on September 25, 2008 with Jim and Judy O’Brien receiving the “Pop” Curry Award. Former Pirate basketball player Luther Wright received a special achievement award and the supporters of Team Walker had a great time. Of course, the big winners were the youngsters of Team Walker with the event raising thousands of dollars to support the various programs.
